Uncle Jacks Worm Slicer

Welcome to Uncle Jack’s Worm Slicer

Thanks for stopping by, I’m Jack Conrad the inventor and maker of the popular worm slicer and line puller.

This fishing device that I market is used for cutting live night crawlers, red worms, rubber worms and new soft plastic’s baits. "Bite size your baits and catch more fish" is what I always say. The line puller feature is designed for the new super braids and extra tough monofilament that are almost impossible to break when snagged. By simply wrapping the line around the grooves in the worm slicer and holding it with your thumb, you can pull your snagged line free with out breaking your rod or cutting your hands.

You can size your bait to the desired length by simply rolling the cutting edge of the slicer across the worm, as it cuts it helps to maintain most of the entrails in the worm not on you or your boat. The worm slicer can easily roll over rubber worms and scented soft plastic’s, cutting them to the desired length. The slicer can also be used on crab tails and shrimp to remove the body from the tail with a pinching rolling motion and leaving the entrails mostly in the body.

A lead head jig and a short piece of crawler is a hot bait in the spring and summer for Walleyes. Lake Erie is well known for great Walleye fishing, and the most common lure/bait combo is a half a night crawler and weight forward spinner such as a Erie Dearie. For panfish, bite size is the answer and less mess. Trim red worms to fit the hook and watch your catch rate increase. For Catfish that loves a bait scent, instead of wrapping a night crawler around a hook, cut the crawler into pieces which allows the ends to produce a scent trail that Catfish love.

The worm slicer and line puller is simple to use and safe for kids as they learn how to fish. As I say use a Uncle Jack’s Worm Slicer and Line Puller you’ll never pull worms or pull snagged lines bare handed again!
